A little help
finding your way.

Getting started, understanding Aura, and choosing what you share. Find an answer here, or get in touch with us.

Getting started

AuraWell is free on iOS and Android. Download the app, create an account with your email and password, then enter the verification code sent to your inbox.

The introduction asks what brings you here, how your relationship with your body feels, and one small sign that life might feel a little easier. Extra questions are marked optional. Aura then offers an initial reflection on what you’ve shared.

From there, you can begin with Gentle Rhythm Breathing or choose to explore AuraWell.

Code not arriving? Check your junk or spam folder and use the newest code if you request another. You can also try a moment on this website without creating an account.

Finding the support you need

Your Journey opens gradually, beginning with Your Soothe System and Guiding Values, then exploring body image, food and movement. Some steps ask you to return to a practice before the next one opens. Earlier practices remain available.

Supportive Spaces offers tools for moments when you want support now, alongside that longer journey. If a Journey practice feels difficult, look for its support button to explore what is getting in the way. You can pause and return another time.

More answers are available in the app under Profile → Settings → Questions & answers.

A companion through the app

Aura is AuraWell’s AI companion. She can draw on what you share during the introduction, practices and reflections to offer observations, connect experiences and help you understand why a practice might be relevant to you.

Her observations are possibilities to explore. Where feedback controls appear, you can choose “That resonates”, “Not quite” or “Save for later”.

In Insights → Patterns → Your moments with Aura, you can revisit saved observations and use “Ask Aura to forget this” for an individual observation. For a wider data or account request, contact support below.

AuraWell offers wellbeing support. Aura is not a clinician, and the app does not replace therapy, medical advice or emergency support.

Sharing with the community

You’re welcome to read quietly. If you post, you can say whether you would like to be heard, hear from people who relate, or welcome others’ experiences.

Sharing a Scrapbook moment opens a separate draft to review. You can change the words and choose whether to include its photo before confirming in Community. Saving a moment to your Scrapbook does not automatically create a community post.

The community guidelines ask members to avoid weight and calorie numbers, diagnoses, treatment instructions and identifying details. Community is not monitored in real time.

Privacy, in plain language

AuraWell’s privacy policy covers account details, wellbeing entries you provide, app usage and device information. These are used to provide and personalise the app, generate AI-powered insights and improve the service.

The policy says AuraWell does not sell or rent personal information, and may share data with service providers involved in running the app, including hosting and AI services. Read the full privacy policy for its terms and your rights. It was last updated on 2 April 2026 and states that AuraWell is not intended for children under 16.

Your entries and account

Edit and delete controls vary by the type of entry. If you cannot find the option you need, contact support for help with your saved information.

To request account deletion, go to Profile → Settings → Request account deletion, or email support@aurawellapp.org. The in-app option opens an email request for you to send. Logging out does not delete your account.

You can also contact support@aurawellapp.org about access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data or withdrawing consent.

We’re here to help

For app help or a data question, email support@aurawellapp.org. For general enquiries, write to hello@aurawellapp.org.

If something isn’t working, you can also use Profile → Settings → Report a bug. Tell us which screen you were on and what happened. A screenshot is optional; leave out any personal information you don’t want to send.

Accessibility support

If a screen, practice or website feature is difficult to use, please contact us about accessibility. Let us know what you were trying to do and, if useful, your device, browser or assistive technology.
